Origin of the model — Pasture Use Agreements, at scale
The methodology's origin: 386 herder groups established formal land
use agreements with stocking density regulation.
64.2% reached their target to reconcile animal numbers with
carrying capacity within 2 years. 21 staff, 190 person-months —
CPR's largest single livestock-sector program, at a scale comparable
to this project's entire ask.
National UNCCD Report — PRAIS-5
