Detailed Narrative Description of Project:
The work was undertaken in response to a request from
Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) for support, as part of the preparations for the Donor meeting in Tokyo, and extends the analyses undertaken during the production of the draft of the Rural Development Strategy.

- Review Government’s policy documents on semi-intensive farming development in Mongolia
- Organize a survey among semi-intensive dairy farmers in the near Ulaanbaatar area to identify key constraints and opportunities
- Organize dairy stakeholder participative workshop
- Organize consultation with MoFA
